LINKEDIN ADS WORKSHOP
A 90-minute hands-on workshop for marketing managers. You'll build a three-stage LinkedIn ad campaign in your own Campaign Manager, with the right ad in front of the right people at each stage.
Tuesday 24th November, 10:00 to 11:30 (UK time), online on Zoom.
£67, or £47 if you book by Tuesday 10th November. 20 places.
You picked your audience by job title and location, wrote an ad, set a budget and waited. You got some clicks, but no leads worth talking about. Maybe you switched it off after a month. Maybe the MD has asked what the ad spend got you, and you didn’t have a good answer.
If that’s you, you’re far from the only one. It’s the most common way LinkedIn ads get set up, because it’s the way Campaign Manager walks you through it.
People who’ve never heard of you aren't ready to book a call or ask for a quote. When the first ad they see asks them to, most scroll past, and the few who click don’t go any further.
The campaigns that bring in leads warm people up first. Stage one shows strangers something useful with no ask. Stage two shows the people who paid attention why they can trust you. Stage three puts your offer in front of people who already know who you are.
It's a setup problem, and it’s very fixable. It doesn’t mean LinkedIn ads don’t work for your business.
☑️ All three stages built in your own Campaign Manager, ready to launch when you choose
☑️ The audiences for each stage set up, including people who’ve watched your videos and engaged with your company page
☑️ Wording for each of your three ads, using simple templates you can reuse for your next campaign
☑️ A checklist of every step, so you can build the next one without me
☑️ A clear idea of what to report to the MD after the first 30 days
☑️ The recording, so you can go back over any step
It’s online on Zoom and it’s hands-on. For each step, I show you on my screen in a campaign I’ve already built, then you do the same in your own account while I’m on hand in the chat. You won’t be sat watching slides for an hour and a half.
When you book, you’ll get a short worksheet to fill in beforehand. It takes about 10 minutes and means you arrive with your ad wording ready to paste in.
On the day you’ll need access to your company’s Campaign Manager with permission to create campaigns (view only won’t work), and a short video of 30 to 60 seconds. One you’ve already got is fine.
Nothing goes live during the workshop. Everything is saved as a draft, so you won’t spend a penny until you’re ready.
You’ve run at least one LinkedIn ad campaign, or boosted a post, and the results were disappointing
You can get into your company’s Campaign Manager
You’d like LinkedIn ads you can explain to the MD
You’ve never run a LinkedIn ad, because we start from an ad account that’s already set up
You already show different ads to people who’ve engaged with you before

I was an in-house marketing manager for 22 years, in healthcare, manufacturing and financial services, so I’ve had the meetings where the MD asks what LinkedIn is getting us. Now I run Squish Marketing and build LinkedIn ad campaigns for B2B companies every week. This workshop is the same setup I use for them, done together in your own account.
No. Stage two uses people who watched your video or engaged with your company page, and neither needs the tag. If you do have it, we’ll add your website visitors too.
Each audience needs at least 300 people on LinkedIn before ads will show to it. Once you launch, each stage starts running by itself when its audience is big enough, and we’ll talk through how to get there sooner.
Yes. You’ll get a receipt by email when you book.
Each place is for one person building in one account, so book a place for everyone who’d like to build along.
Online on Zoom. £47 until Tuesday 10th November, then £67. There’s room for 20 people, so everyone gets help when they need it.
